Voice-activated
nüvi 2465 not only tells you where to turn but listens to your spoken commands. With its innovative speech recognition, you can control nüvi with your voice — allowing you to keep both hands on the wheel. Simply wake up nüvi with a customisable voice command and begin speaking menu options that are clearly displayed on the screen. Tell nüvi 2465 “Find Address” and speak an address to start navigating.

Hands-free Calling
For hands-free calling, nüvi 2465 integrates Bluetooth® wireless technology with a built-in microphone and speaker. Just pair it with your compatible Bluetooth phone and talk hands-free through the 2465 while staying focused on the road. Simply dial numbers with its touchscreen keypad to make a call. To answer calls, just tap the screen and speak into its built-in microphone. Enjoy convenient one-touch dialling for contacts and points of interest.
Compass
Garmin’s new generation GPS, nüvi 2465 not only provides navigation but also has a built-in compass to pinpoint direction. The compass indicates final destination’s direction even from a long distance.
NOTICE: GPS device close to magnet or magnetic items may affect compass accuracy.
Trip planner
With trip planner, you can save 100 routes, specify via points and preview simulated turns on nüvi 2465’s wide screen. In addition, nüvi 2465 automatically sorts multiple destinations to provide an efficient route for errands, deliveries or sales calls. For example, to drive from hotel, stop by a gas station and final destination is Changi Airport.
The dual orientation of nüvi 2465 is ideal for use while driving or walking, as it lets users see their preloaded maps and intuitive menus in landscape or portrait modes. Garmin innovative nüRoute technology with myTrends™ and avoiding features make the daily commute or vacation travel easier than ever. With myTrends™, when you save your regular destinations in “Favourites,” your nüvi 2465 will, over time, begin to figure out where you’re going even without your telling it! It provides time of arrival and relevant traffic information. So whether you’re driving to and from work or a regularly scheduled weekly event, your nüvi 2465 will help you get there on time. With avoiding features, you can select the road features to avoid on your route and even customise avoidance, to add avoid area and avoid road.
When driving, travelers with nüvi 2465 can tap into ecoRoute, an easy-to-install device that transforms nüvi into a real-time diagnostic computer. This not only provides fuel and mileage reports, but you get more accurate fuel consumption/ conservation data by tapping into the vehicle's diagnostic system.
Keep track of your car with nüvi 2465. nüvi 2465 even remembers where you parked. It automatically marks your position when you remove it from the windshield mount, so you can navigate with nüvi on foot and find your way back to your vehicle.
The newly announced 2465 features a large number of preloaded points of interest and turn-by-turn directions with spoken street names, and with a speed limit indicator that displays speed limits for most major roads and alerts drivers who are exceeding the limit.
